The best machine to cater to your needs
Our Traditional vs Bean to Cup Machines Solution
What makes the machines different?
Traditional Espresso Machine
A traditional espresso style machine is an espresso machine that a barista uses to extract coffee from the coffee grounds (that they have created in a coffee grinder), by tamping them into a portafilter and fixing into the group head for the water to pass through the freshly grounded coffee whilst allowing you to texture your milk to the perfect velvet machine.
Bean to cup Machine
A bean-to-cup is fully automated, other than the push of a button. It basically does the work of a grinder, a coffee machine and a barista all in one; grinding the beans on demand for the ultimate freshness, tamping the grounds, extracting the coffee, steaming the milk if necessary and pouring the drink.
What are the benefits of each machine?
Cost
A traditional machine is generally a lower cost than a fresh milk bean to cup machine, however with a powdered milk bean to cup machine, the cost dramatically decreases.
Footfall
Having a look at what rate you will need to produce your coffee will help figure out if you need a machine which has a faster production such as bean to cup machine.
With a traditional coffee machine will take you longer to produce your drink, unless you decide to have a three group machine allowing more staff to create a drink at once.
Your customers
Which will best suit the need of your customers? Are they nipping in for a quick caffeine fix before they get on the road again? Or, are they after a social sit down over an Instagramable coffee?
If it's just a quick fix, then a bean-to-cup machine is better for those in busy settings as it does all the work for you at the push of a button. Whereas, a traditional espresso machine takes longer to make but looks more aesthetically pleasing than a bean-to-cup machine.
Your Staff
We promise you that once trained, working with a traditional machine becomes second nature. However, it still does take training and practice so may not be ideal for businesses with a high turn over of staff.
In comparison, a push button bean-to-cup-machine requires no skill from the member of staff other than serving your customer with a smile.
